Kap's Place

Not much to say about today.

• Very tired (pretty much all of our sleep was on the plane rides).
• San José is ok but not the coolest place ever. Supposedly it is ok during the day but after "las diez" (10 pm) it is full of "ladrones" (theives), "putas" and "travestias" according to our taxi driver. I'll let you translate the last two yourself...
  
• We are staying at Kap's Place. It's a pretty cool hotel.

• Barely anyone speaks more than a little English. I must say I was expecting a bunch of English-speaking people (since so many Americans visit here). I hear that more people speak English in the more touristy areas (San José is not one). Either way, I enjoy practicing (ok, more like resuscitating) my Spanish. I'm glad that I know even as much as I do.
• It's the rainy season.
